Challenges

As Abu Dhabi’s tourism and culture sectors expanded rapidly, the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority required a consistent environmental, health and safety framework for the tourism and hospitality industry.

7th Sense was engaged by the Abu Dhabi Tourism Authority to develop and implement an EHS Regulatory Framework, Management System and Sustainability Program for the Abu Dhabi tourism sector, covering hotels and hotel apartments, tourism operators, tourism destinations and tourism developers

Solution

7th Sense was selected for its comprehensive capabilities in delivering regulatory frameworks. The team worked with ADTA to establish a comprehensive framework and program that set a new benchmark for the region. The methodology was customised to meet the client’s requirements.

  • Identified Sector-wide policy objectives, KPIs, and management systems.
  • Launched Web-based reporting and benchmarking portal, engagement   workshops, and industry initiatives.
  • Delivered tailored training and technical capacity building for over 4,000 sector professionals.
