7th Sense was recently engaged by Edify Energy & Octopus Investments to conduct the Compliance Reporting for the Darlington Point Solar Farm.

 

The Darlington Point Solar Farm project is one of the largest in Australia connected to the National Electricity Market and provides electricity to more than 115,000 households.  

7th Sense completes Playground Safety Inspection for the Kids Palace, at the Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

 

The Kids Palace is a one of a kind mini-version of Emirates Palace with dedicated playgrounds, experiential learning facilities, cooking and masterclass facilities, wand many more adventure spaces. The inspection was carried out against the international Australian, English and European playground safety standards.

Sydney Metro is Australia's largest transport infrastructure and construction projects and will transform the future and sustainability of public transport in Australia's largest and most populated city.

 

7th Sense is very excited to be engaged on this prestigious project and has provided Independent Environmental Audits and audit program support on the City-South West, City to Chatswood, Western Sydney, and Western Sydney Airport Packages.

7th Sense has been engaged by the Abu Dhabi Environment Agency to support the implementation of its regulatory reforms and the achievement of its ambitious Waste Management Strategy targets, specifically focusing on embedding a world best practice regulatory compliance framework and audit & inspection program to help achieve those targets.

 

7th Sense is also supporting the development of new Waste Technical Guidelines and Building Design and Building Code requirements to help achieve the waste diversion, circular economy and sustainability targets.

7th Sense was recently engaged to support the development of a Compliance & Assurance Framework for NSW Government's Biodiversity Offset Scheme, one of the most advanced schemes of its type in the world. The framework includes a Compliance & Assurance Plan, Audit Procedure & Program, and Accredited Assessor Policy.

 

7th Sense has also delivered pilot audits of Biodiversity Development Assessment Reports (BDARs) on major projects in NSW, including an airport, solar farm and quarry project, as well as three stewardship sites, as part of the initial implementation phase.

7th Sense was engaged by Property NSW to develop and implement an Environmental & Sustainability Framework for NSW Government's portfolio of owned and leased assets worth over $120 billion; as well as lead the establishment of a dedicated Environmental Services Group providing whole-of-government environmental, sustainability, and contaminated land management services to over 10 NSW Government Agencies.

 

Services provided included environmental planning & assessments for new developments, environmental due diligence for property transactions, contaminated land assessments and remediation, NABERs assessments, Green Building Design, waste asset management, renewables and other zero carbon initiatives.

7th Sense was engaged by the NSW Department of Planning, Infrastructure & Environment (DPIE) to conduct an independent review of the NSW Government's regulatory compliance framework for biodiversity conservation with a view to enhancing the efficacy of the system.

 

The work included conducting a review of native vegetation, threatened species and kangaroo harvesting compliance and making recommendations for improving the framework for consideration by the government.

7th Sense was engaged by Tactical Group & Cube Logistics to support the management of environmental planning, assessment and site management obligations for the Sydney Intermodal / Moorebank Logistics Park development, one of the signature projects by the Australian and NSW Government that will provide a future proof plan for the transportation of shipping containers between Port Botany and Western Sydney and beyond.

 

Our work involved leading environmental planning and approvals, management of environmental assessments and coordination and oversight of CEMP and OEMP implementation, as well as consultations and negotiations with NSW Government Agencies and other stakeholders.

7th Sense was recently engaged by the Institute for Sustainable Futures at the University of Technology Sydney to support the coordination and submission of Net Zero Carbon proposals under the CRC RACE 2030 Initiative.

 

The RACE 2030 initiative leads joint research projects to achieve net zero carbon by 2030 in collaboration with leading Australian universities, Federal and State Governments, and major industry players in the areas of electrification, microgrids, electric vehicle infrastructure, battery storage and employment.
